The bulletproof vest was actually invented by a pizza delivery guy from Detroit USA, after he was shot twice on the job.

Richard Davis was a bankrupt pizzeria owner when he got the idea for a bulletproof vest in 1969 Michigan. Body armor was nothing new, of course, but Davis had an inkling that he could make something lighter that could be worn, undetected, under clothes.

If a statue of a person in the park on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle.

In many parts of the world, an urban legend states that if the horse is rearing (both front legs in the air), the rider died in battle; one front leg up means the rider was wounded in battle; and if all four hooves are on the ground, the rider died outside battle.
