If you are asking about my MKII, no its not. It has a custom made thread protector that blends in perfectly with the barrel.

Here's one of mine, Sig 1911-22 with a Gemtech Outback can. I also didn't like the factory rear sight so I put on a fully adjustable rear sight. It's almost as good as a target .22 now. However I suck at taking pictures.
