I had a 96 hatch back with an integra gsr type-r motor in it "all motor non aspirated"and I can promise,non of you havent named a daily driver it wouldnt leave in the dust.

I have out run many of boosted cars in it.

I got a buddy with a crx w/ an h22 supercharged in it.
There was videos of him "on youtube" dusting streetbikes years ago.

so why do Honda owners dig their cars?
You can easily have a 12 second car that can be used as a daily drive.

Geez...how many times I have heard this? Not going to hijack NWS' thread with this, but suffice it to say that I have a couple of friends who DD cars that no street-legal Honda will touch...just one of which being an 11-second '74 Firebird.

I honestly don't care about cars. This impala is a rental. My daily driver is a pos 96 cavalier that had 160000 miles and smells funny.

On the weekends I either drive my wifes murano or my 4 wheel drive truck.


Was it childish? Probably. Was it satisfying? Most definately.



I cannot stand some tool climbing up my ass because he thinks I'm not driving fast enough.

I would have gave him the 70 mph brake check. I hate people who ride my bumper. I'll lock the breaks down. Im not big into driving that fast but I love locking down the breaks. I actually got pulled over cause a cop saw me brake check a guy. Just told him I saw a deer. He laughed and that was that.

I'm in s company rental car on my way to a high profile customer. I did a few gun deals ony way out of GA so I have 2 ARs, two glocks, and my db9 in the car. Getting rear ended on the freeway in south Carolina would not be the way I want to end my weekend.

Hondas make me do bad things. Because when you beat them, the drivers still think their **** dont stank haha! I have never seen a 12 second honda that was a DD.
