LML DURAMAX

I had a 12 LML and sold it with 250+k on it. Best truck I ever had (7+ yrs) Deleted and tuned yes, lift pump and two added filters yes, fuel treatment used yes. No problems. Was an absolute great truck. It’s good insurance to swap it out-IF you are going to keep it. But in my opinion not totally necessary. You will need to have the current tunes RE written to accept the CP3. But do understand once that is done and any bugs are worked out, it’s a beast. But then it’s how hot the tunes are…melting pistons….head gaskets….injectors…glow plugs…ARP head studs…VVT turbos ….
It’s just how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to go. And it’s a deep one. Duramaxforum.com is a wealth of knowledge. With those diesels..the name of the game is You got to PAY to PLAY.

I have a guy in centre alabama that will do it for 3-3500. Thats the fuel pump included. If you want to buy your own pump and take it to him then he charges around $100 per hour for work. I know its a long drive but hes good and everyone i have found around here charges way more due to the heavy demand of diesels these days. Since you are already tuned/deleted it shouldnt be more than a 6 hour job. I am pretty sure you have to have a lift pump for the cp3 to work at its max capacity so hopefully you already have that done.
My 2016 lml was headed out there after the first of the year until some drunk ran across my driveway and totaled mine in the middle of the night
I’m interested. Send me his contact info please. And thanks.

Please report back on this - I run PPEI also and was told from a friend they wouldn’t touch his tune when he went to a built trans because it was a delete tune…. This was about a year ago.

Makes me want to take it to Chevy dealer and ask for extended warranty to cover it.
Apparently there a few class action law suits floating around on the issue...much as I hate to I think I’m gonna make “one call that’s all!”lol.
