Load data on .223

I probably missed this but barrel twist is probably more important than barrel length. I have 4 223s but I bought some 69 gr. and assumed they would work. My AR is the only one that has enough twist rate to work. I hope you don't have 1:14. Just my two cents Good luck.

Barrel: 10.5in 1:8 twist
Bullet: 55gr FMJ
Powder BLC2 (23.5gr)
Primer: CCI400
FPS: 2089

You can make it hotter, but these are just plinking rounds.

What OAL?

I settled on 26.5 grains of BLc2 and 2.224 OAL with Hornady 55gr FMJ, this load was the most acute out of my 16.5” 1/8 Wylde after chasing grains from 24.5-27.2
