I have a small pond on my property and keep a variety of ducks around. Lately several ducks have vanished and only scattered feathers were found around the perimeter of the pond. I bought a 2 million candle power infra-red light and mounted it on my side porch toward the lake, so when I heard "duck noise" at night I could turn it on and not spook them and the varmint causing the hysteria. Last night around 9:45 PM, heard the ducks going crazy, flipped on the light and sure enough, saw eyes glowing at the edge of the pond, COYOTE! Grabbed my new long range .556 build and set up on a table towards the pond. Made 2 shots at around 150 yds and was able to dispatch a 25lb mangy looking 'Yote. This was a blast, drinking coffee on the porch and getting target practice at the same time!
