Local hot blue refinish rifle

Hey there

I have an older Enfiled sporter I would like to have refinished- made December 1918. Prefer a deep hot blue. I will redo finish on the aftermarket stock- who local to ATL refinishes rifles like that? I prefer no cerkote or anything like that. Also prefer to not ship. Thanks!

I checked with both as I need bluing as well. They stopped doing it. 😔

If I were having something blued that meant something to me, I would use Ford’s Refinishing in FL, or Accurate Plating & Weaponry in AL. Both are highly regarded, and have been in business for decades. I’ve used both over the decades, with no complaints.

Was in the same boat… didn’t want to ship, but ran out of options. Tried Accurate Plating and could not have been happier. They did a fantastic job on my Custom Mauser 6mm Remington.

I've used Ford's multiple times as well and they have done an outstanding job. It does take a while. I always drop it off in Florida and they ship it to my house when they're done. Not that someone has to do it that way.
