Local PD's asking for camera access

crazy thing is they don't need any businesses cameras or permission. Flock has well over 100k cameras access. It actually a very good system, especially for high crime areas. Why wouldn't you want to have this ?

Imagine, if you would, a world where you do a double take at a beautiful woman on the street, or in a store.
She then goes missing.
Your door gets kicked in at 4 am and your house is swarmed by the local SWAT team who are amped up on steroids. They shoot your dog, 'cuff your wife and kids, and drag you out in your drawers in front of the neighborhood.
Because some camera caught you eyeballing a hot chick.

Edit: That was a real poster campaign a couple of years after 9/11. It didn't last long, for obvious reasons.

Yeah where I live got them on county line on all mine roads. Their claim only used looking for expired tags etc BS

I use them daily. When we catch murder perps, burglary perps etc etc,. Theyre a valuable tool..
