That’s right. I have one, and it is so accurate.
But also, 6.5 Creedmoor ballistic is really good for long range. And the the good side is that any $600 rifle will do the job in this caliber.

Tikka, Tikka, Tikka. You are not going to get a rifle in that price range that compares to the quality of a Tikka.

Tikka t3 tac a1 if you want something turn key

Tikka t3 tac if you want to save some money and drop in into something like a KRG bravo.

If 600 yards is your home range and likely all that you will shoot, don't overlook a 223 slinging heavy, high BC pills

Tikka T3 Tac A1 is the gun to beat at that price point. Everything else compromises too much in different ways.

I’ll throw in a vote for Tikka as well. I have a CTR that I regularly reach out a good distance with. I was just telling a buddy the other night that all my bolt guns from now on, whether recreational or hunting, will be Tikka.

Only reason I didnt include Tikka is because the T3X Tac A1 is more than $1,500. Seen a video on YT a guy with his T3X Tac A1 6.5 Creedmoor shot .25MOA at 100 yards.

This. I didn’t include the Tikka T3X Tac A1 because it was out of the stated $1000-$1500 range. It’s a great rifle, however, and worth every penny.
