i normally buy my ammo online, i find i save some money that way, but buying it directly from a warehouse would be cheaper anyways because your removing the middle man aka lgs so less expense and profit needed

What was the 45ACP prices. Even Cabelas(in store) and other gunshops had fmj at .50/rd or higher.

I missed the 22, but tonight they still had tons of federal 100 rd 45 packs and some Monarch 45. 5.56 and 308 was in stock too. They've even stocked some 40 on the floor instead of behind the counter. It's definitely getting better.

A Walmart worker told me this is exactly what the LGS were doing.

It is possible that the small stores send people to buy up the ammo from Wal Mart so they can resell it on their shelves. I think the higher prices are here like gas prices. We can ***** and moan but its either buy it or don't shoot.
