If you want it all pretty, might as well chrome it and make it a parade rifle.

Issue weapons were tools, and were only refinished during overhaul. In the field shiny metal was covered, but no stock work unless the stock was broken or unserviceable.

Martial arms were not safe queens.

Good lord I almost fainted twice, first the price then again seeing dummy "cleaned it up" that's not cleaning in my book.
