Remington or Winchester "Cowboy Action loads" will be safe in your gun, all other factors aside. Low pressure, soft lead bullet. I load an RCBS 405 grain bullet with 16-19 grains of Unique powder to good effect, delivers about 1175 fps at 475 ft above mean sea level. Been a while since I loaded any for the trapdoors though.
