I am looking to hire an IT support specialist - office is located in the Vinings area off of 285. You will be supporting internal general networking and pc and phone issues and will eventually work with our external clients as well to resolve issues with the software and engineering plotter and copiers we sell and support. General Nature of Work
Assist in the support of internal IT/Network tickets generated by our helpdesk in response to end user requests. Candidate will also be called upon to provide end user training, information and technical support to the varying departments in the use and maintenance of the workstations, software, printers and peripherals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Investigate and resolve support requests in person, by phone, email, and via remote control support software.
· Provide fast response and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Requires strong interpersonal phone and email skills and a strong customer focus on resolving and troubleshooting customer issues.
· Analyze situations completely and accurately, present alternative solutions and recommend an effective course of action.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and applications.
· Manage daily system backups.
· Working with, troubleshooting, and making effective changes to VoIP telephone system.
