FTF/FTE problems on a full mag - when I down load mag to 25 or 26 rounds the problem goes away. This is with older Circle 10 mag and the brand new Magpul 5.45x39 mags. Kind of frustrating.I'm pretty good with ak's. What's the issue?

Thanks, hope they can be adjusted/modifiedSounds like your mags could be seating to high in the magwell and the spring pressure from a full mag is causing the rounds to be out of sync with the bolt travel. As Benhad suggested the rails could be out of spec. 74's were produced when most countries had switched from steel to polymer/bakelite for 5.45x39. A properly manufactured receiver should have no problem with your mags. HTH.
