I had a 23 Ford T Bucket for 5 or 6 years and found that it was a bit too hard to get in and out of. Wife loved the wind in her hair (I don't have any to worry with). But, it got to be too hard of a ride and we sold it.
So, now she wants another convertible (she would prefer a Corvette) but I am sold on the VW dune buggy. Low enough to get in and out of and I believe a better ride than my T bucket. We like to go to car shows and the kids loved sitting in the T. I think they would have the same reaction to a dune buggy.
So, I'm looking for one, in the 12 to 15K range, not too far from Douglasville, that is road ready, but not adverse to doing some work to getting it up to speed.
Do you have one? Maybe sitting in the barn, that hasn't been cranked in a couple of years, but still looks nice under all that dust and bird poop?
