By the time my kids were 3 years old they knew all about firearms. It was never a mystery.
Whenever I obtained a new one, I would lay it on the table for them to inspect and tell me if it was real or not.

Very sad. When my daughter was growing up all guns were locked in the safe. When I came home from work I locked up my carry. Now I have a great neice and nephew ages 8 & 6. When they come over my nightstand gun goes into the safe.

I hate to hear these stories. We gotta be extra careful with the little ones. I dont like the idea of off body carry. This is one reason. Proper holster is also vital. Curious what gun and if it was holstered...
