Looking for single shot deer rifle

just as title says, not real picky on caliber but would like a 30-06

Ha I was just googling the same thing, read that the .30-06 in single shot is brutal. I'm looking for one in .243 or maybe .22-250 or something similar. I'm going to call up some local pawn shops tomorrow from what I saw you can get in them for around 150.

I have gone to hunting with a 50 cal muzzle loader all season . 350 grain bullet with a 150 lead of black powder is brutal under 125 yards .
