Looks like the NRA is screwed

I wonder if the NY AG will go after Sharpton's organization with as much vigor as she is going after the NRA. Talk about corrupt.

Imagine how big a schmuck those of us who used to work as recruiters feel.
So I just want to be clear many of you guys are supporting the liberal state of New York over the NRA??? Have you lost your minds? Understand, New York is not concerned at all about right or wrong or misspending of any charitable organization. If New York were honestly just trying to root out corruption they they would also be going after the DNC, planned parenthood and a host of other shady organizations. This lawsuit is not at all about corruption and 100% about your gun rights.
New York understands what you guys fail to comprehend that the NRA is the largest and most effective defender of our 2nd Amendment rights. Does the NRA need some internal house cleaning? Sure yes it does. So join the NRA vote and improve the organization. Stop your whining!
C’mon guys we don’t have the rights we have without the NRA! Without the NRA, who is going to lobby Congress? Who is going to defend your rights at the Supreme Court and in countless jurisdictions all over this country? You gonna do it? You guys who complain about the NRA cannot and will not defend my rights in court, the NRA WILL. New York is no friend to my 2nd Amendment rights so I will help defend the NRA against the left. You guys want to team up with the left and help the left destroy the NRA? Go ahead, but don’t blame anyone but yourself when your gun rights are taken away.
This is the problem with the right... we eat our own all the time. We have no problem selling each other down the river. The NRA is not perfect, there may be some corruption, but NRA is largely responsible for the progress we have made with the 2nd Amemdment over the last 30 years.
The NRA is not perfect so join, write, participate vote and contribute to fixing things. Sure sure you are going to say that this other pro 2nd amendment organization is better and you may be right, but when the left is done with the NRA they are coming after every other pro gun group. Wake up!

No, the problem with the right is we defend the indefensible. Just like the left.
Wayne needs to go, along with any facilitators. If charges by the NYC help move that along then good.
The NRA isn't going anywhere. What are you concerned about, that the NRA isn't going to continue to give the good citizens of NY the best pro 2A laws in the land? Ooops.
But I am curious, name one thing, ONE thing the NRA has done for you or Georgians at large the last several years. Even ole Donnie said he couldn't understand why people were 'afraid' of the NRA when he was chomping at the bit for some 'sensible infringements'.
I'm a life time member, I was at the convention, lapping up the chants of "Repeal the NFA!" and "Pass the HPA!" (and of course "lock her up!") when Donnie took the stage and lied his rear off about his love for the 2A (but I digress). So where are we on those? Let me check my government issued permission slip, maybe my restored rights are tucked away behind it somewhere.
Sadly the NRA has become little more than a facade marketing to the ignorant They are the "Franklin Mint" of 2A organizations. I agree, the NRA is the most powerful voice we COULD have (and for that reason I hope the ship is righted). But a .300WM is also the most powerful rifle I personally own. I've never fired it in my life. So, what good is it? I have several other smaller calibers that have done infinitely more 'good'.
