Just curious, what method were you trying to use to insert the roll pin when the lower broke?

Sledgehammer,is there another method thats better?

how'd you solve it? A grip? or did you find a fix for the metal? I have a friend with a broken PWA preban. He could use the info.

sold the old grip and guard.im out $20 for the new grip.I have large hands and the magpul grip feels small,so the oversized grip should work well for me.

I was using a punch to drive the pin out,it was a little sticky but moving then stopd,next swing the ear was snapped off.

I guess you'd be screwed if your lower was the 20K MG type.
