I served on a jury in NJ. It was a wonderful experience and renewed my faith that the justice system can and does work. It was also very impressive to see a collective of individuals put aside any bias and work through to a verdict based on the letter of the law.

Jury duty isnt something to avoid or escape from. It's your responsibility as a citizen, and one of the ways you contribute to the decision making process.

Give this some thought before you start or participate in a thread complaining about the outcome of some court case.
