It's probably been discussed before but I'm too lazy to do a search, sorry. And I've been down the Google rabbit hole before and run into a lot of conflicting info, so I figured I'd just ask.
Has anyone run a 1.0 slide on a 2.0 frame successfully (had an undamaged firearm and all your fingers when you were done)?
If been messing around and it appears to me that the 1.0 slide on the 2.0 frame will function correctly with the exception of being able to slingshot the slide on a reload. Seems you have to use the slide release.
With a 2.0 slide on the 1.0 frame it seems to function correctly except the slide won't lock back on an empty mag.
I'm mostly interested in running a 1.0 slide on a 2.0 frame, both are 5", 9mm.
