M&P 9 to 22 sights

I have the M&P 9 & 22 what I would like to do is take the rear white dot sights off the 9 and install them on the 22 instead of having that adjustable rear sight on there. Has anyone swapped these out or know that it can be done since the slides are different metals. Your help is appreciated. Thanks and Good Day.

Just a thanks to Centerville Gun & Pawn in Warner Robbins for a great job on my rear sight swap. I now have 3 dot on my M&P 22 and night sights on my M&P 9. Great job and I couldn't be happier.

Late with the reply, but I've done it. The answer is that they will not directly cross over. You'll have to take some material off of the bottom of the real sights to get them to go onto the .22.
