M&P Shield .45!

I haven't seen any post about this yet, S&W has announced a Shield in .45. A little late to the party where the XDS has a strong footing already, but I like the Shield as well as the XDS.

Safety and no safety models. 6 round/7 round mags. New front serrations, more aggressive grip texture.

I like it alot. I'm glad they finally came out with it to compete with the glock 36 and xds. Depending on pricing I might try to pick one up. Smith and wesson is giving one away but you gotta be on Facebook to enter to win it which kinda sucks for the folks who aren't on there.

Will really have to look into it... My EDC is a 45c but I also have a Shield 40 as a small carry when I cant hide the 45c...
