m1 carbine

Condition and low serial number, WW2 guns have the highest resale. Non imports that is. Does not really matter on make too much. Inland, Underwood, Rock ola all command decent prices if condition is right.

The CMP is the best way to get a great deal on M1 Carbines as long as they have them in stock. I bought my 1944 Inland about five years ago for $525 shipped. It was an Italian issued M1 Carbine at one point with a replacement stock on it. I replaced that one with a beautiful Rock Ola stock and handguard.

Actually it does Rockola's, Winchesters, and Saginaw S'G' have a higher resale value due to the lower number of rifles produced.

CMP sold out of Carbines years ago, very doubtful they will ever get anymore in.
