We called the swap shop on the radio one time and in the most haggard 60 yo smoker voice we could muster went “I got a 1969 ‘maro for 500 dollars it runs but it smokes and my number is …” and left a buddies number. He had people showing up at his house it was hilarious. So keep that phone number guarded haha!

Jack was very straightforward with me and had the most reasonably priced surplus 30-06 in the entire show. When I was a teenager he showed me some original packed 30-40 krag that I couldn’t believe still existed.
