Hey all!
Got a m1 garand in a trade a while back and was wondering if I could get some help getting some info on her. She's a Springfield armory m1 garand. I believe the serial number puts her late 1944. I think the barrel has been swapped but it's still Springfield armory. And also the stock doesn't have any noticeable markings besides for the number that looks like it was written in sharpie. I don't think it's the original stock but it still looks like it went through hell. But I love the history in this rifle and was just wondering if anyone else can tell me any more on this rifle. Whether or not this is the original stockc, why it has a different colored handguard, etc. Any info at all would be much appreciated! I'll post more pictures if needed. Thanks!
