just bought a, supposedly, 250lb magnet from Harbor Freight for about $20. Came with a screw in eyelet to attach rope to.
Used it to pick up all the nails that the roofers left. Strong pull, just dangled it over the ground and the nails jumped on.
Scratched my carry getting it off the magnet.
Definitely keeping my eye out for local places to dangle it.

The angle of the dangle used to be important. Maybe not so much now a days.

Doesn't matter. The fact that she wants to spend time with her uncle is golden. That truly is a gift

No idea yet. Just glad she asked. Since she turned 12 I haven't been much in her life whereas before, she visited often, started reloading with me at 3 years of age, and shooting at 4. She's 16 now. Super smart kid.
