Perfect until you shear it off. They sell replacement drain plugs with pitcocks on em. Seemed like a great idea until reading a few comments.
Sure would make it easy
I did exactly that...BUT it was on my boat...I could drain/winterize it in a second!!!

Believe it or not, there's actually a product sold very similar and makes oil changes a breeze with attachments to run a hose to your drain pan. Have them on both vehicles for years now. Look up EZ drain.
They make a product that works very similar to this called a Ronin for Ford vehicles. It’s a twist and drain set up that you can control the amount of oil coming out. No more oil in the face when you pop the plug out.
