You guys are doing it wrong if you don't get splashed in the face and can taste the oil. A flavor of gasoline means you have dilution and are running rich or have ring blow-by. A flavor of burnt oil means you overheated or went too long between oil changes. Sweet crude tastes good and everything is A OK.
