Yup...I have 3 .44 Spl revolvers...2.5 and 3 inch barrels

charter arms bulldog 3" barrel, nice revolver with a good trigger in both single and double action. I won't go so far as to say I like them better than my s&w revolvers but I will definetly buy at least one more charter arms.

I never understood the modern use of 44Spl. It's a big, heavy bullet, but it's slow, and is easily overpowered by just about any 9mm load in terms of velocity and (most importantly IMO) energy.

Well, there's Kinetic Energy--Bullet Weight X Velocity SQUARED--Where the 9mm "Wins"--and then there's MOMENTUM--Bullet Weight X Velocity--Where the "Big Boys"--Like .44 Special, .45 ACP & .45 LC "Win"...You pays your money & you takes your chances, I guess...But then, I don't wanna' GET SHOT with ANY of 'em!!!
