Manufacturer's halting production on AR's

Has anyone heard that manufacturer's are halting production currently on AR's?

I just got off the phone with Wild West Traders down in Austell and was told Smith & Wesson stopped production currently on AR's and are focusing just on their handguns.

i wouldnt trust that , these companys can make to much money on them right now. they are moving faster than they can produce them so not like they would get stuck with them

Okay. I just got off the phone with GT Distributors and they said they are virtually sold out of all AR's except Del-ton Echo 316. The lady on the phone said she hadn't heard from any of the manufacturer's halting production on the AR lines. She said they are actually just trying to get as many as they can and the manufacturer's can't keep up with demand currently.

Sounds like misinformation on WWT's part.

I remember the 94 ban all to well, manufac. were still making them up until the ban, just not shipping and selling till after the ban went into effect, they would sell for more and they were produced before the ban, preBan, vultures
