Over the hurricane get away back in Perry I saw.ths severely abused Model 60 in a corner in the office where we were camped out. Turns out my old landlord let his ****I meant El Salvadoran use it while he was working in the bamboo groves and digging plants. Well that did NOT go very well. So now it's in three pieces and in a sad state.
Since I was grateful for a place to stay with kid and animals and since I ain't got much else to do I volunteered to try to get it back to a functional rifle. Of course I will need a stock. Don't care at all what it looks like since it will obviously be better than this one. Also I have almost no experience with tube fed 22s. I know the inner workings of 10/22s and AR7s but this is new to me. I guess I'll need to look up the exploded parts view on the Numrich Gun Parts site.
But how does the trigger work? It's mounted in the stock and looks to have a hammer but I don't get how it works with the action. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
