I have an IDF mauser that I picked up on a trade. When the safety is on, the bolt closes very smoothly, however, with the safety in the "fire" position, the bolt is very hard to close. It requires a firm push forward before it will turn down.
I have been doing some reading on the interwebs and this issue seems to be caused by the "bolt sleeve lock plunger/spring". Has anybody else had this issue before? I figure if I replace the plunger and spring, it may make the bolt easier to close.
