Mauser Modelo Argentino 1909

Or just Argentine mauser 1909.

Anyone know how to find out the date on one of these? I did a little searching and from what
I found, it says it was made in 1912 according to the serial #. I just have a hard time believing that due to the condition of the rifle being so good. The bore looks like it has never been shot out of before.

I'll post up some pics of it tomorrow.


Now I need to find some ammo so in can accompany me to the C&R meet!

Wish I had just taken the other one too. Come to find out, that is the correct handguard.

If it wasn't such a long dang drive, I'd come back and pick it up.
