Maximum number of ads at any given time?

You know, there are 33,114 ODT members. Despite that, I'm rethinking how I'm going to sell my stuff. Hate to go back to shipping, but sometimes it's the principle of a thing that sticks in your craw.

I can agree with that, but for different reasons.

Nope. Actually, I think most people agreed with me. Like anyone else, I don't like it when people don't agree with me.

I also don't like it when a user uses my name in their public post as an "example" of a perceived problem. I also don't like it when the moderators don't pull the post with my user name in it. I know they're volunteers, but my opinion they should have pulled it before my name was drug through the proverbial mud. I stumbled on the two week old post while reviewing posting rules; because in the almost two years I've been listing, there had not been a limit on ads. I had maybe 7 or 8 items up. When they ended, I'd just relist them at the same time. Apparently that upset someone. Suck it up. My listings get pushed down too. Deal with it.

As far a limiting individuals to five posts per section per day, I believe the administrators used a shotgun to kill a fly. A minor issue that bothered a vocal few (sort of like liberals). The issue could have been easily solved by creating "Dealer" sections in the other three areas of the classifieds for pawn shops and businesses to load their mass postings. Wouldn't have affected individuls, like me or you, at all.

I never said I was not going to list on ODT any more. I just said I was going to rethink how I sell my stuff. Period.
