Your choice is your own, but there's no need in being condescending to those who have made a different choice. I have a long history with the store and it's owner, and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't minimize it to trivial whining.
I have actually been in American Heritage before but at a time when I was more in control of the situation. In this case I would be on the man's property, taking advantage of his hospitality and eating his free food. When he chooses to come out and greet us all - as he should feel comfortable doing - he'll want to shake hands and say hello. I honestly wouldn't have anything nice to say, and it would be disrespectful of me ignore the the man or decline to shake his hand, or to expect him to stay in his office away from me. I am choosing not to do that.
I agree with him, same experiences with AH. Secondly George would benefit from the people outside because then people would think he has good business practices, and he doesn't.
We might not be buying anything from him but we will be providing advertisement, which is still putting money in George's pocket. I couldn't do that, its like going to H. Clinton's house or Obama's and eating on the front lawn, it might be free but I sure as heck don't want to support them by any means.
