Meat grinder suggestion?!?

+1 on the KitchenAide. Had one for 3-4 years now and ground several deer and hogs. Buy your wife the mixer (you are a hero, they love 'em) and get you the attachment grinder. I just wish they had a meat cuber attachment and it would be perfect.
I bought one several years ago at Northern Tool for around $100. It was Black Friday and it was 20%-25% off. It works just fine for my limited use and has a sausage stuffer attachment. I kill a deer or two per year. And I only grind the front shoulders and neck mostly. I leave the hams for roast and steak the backstraps. It's better that way.
