Oh, wait. Now a days it depends on how you 'identify'.
"Men have menopause too!" Manopause!
It is survivable, just keep your head down and your mouth shut. Normal rules of human reasoning do not apply during this time. If you can’t refrain from speaking, just limit it to “yes dear”. Keep a box of chocolates handy. Best of luck.
Plan on a lot of yard work and hunt every day you can. Once you get past the night sweats, it gets a little better.
I did a lot of skydiving and BASE jumping every weekend when my wife went through it.
It’s obvious that we aint supposed to understand everything 
So for me it’s been simple to understand, i married a bat **** crazy chick when we were young. Since then after a few kids she calmed her ass down a hair. Fast forward to mental pause and WHAM!!! All bat**** crazy again!! It’s like reliving our 20’s all over again. Crazy good sex followed by psychotically insane nonsense!!!
Much safer than being around the house.
