but my car drive smooth ad fine there no problem I just don't want to dealer rip me off if i sold my car its goanna be so cheap that's not the price I wanted and if I can fix it I will keep driving, so far so good not any vibrations but you know if someone tell you something you don't know mentally you just winna found out is that really bad or its just dealer trying to rip you off
Not an MB mechanic, but 10 minutes on the MB forums indicates this may be a common problem:
"OM654/656 engines literally leaked coolant into their vacuum lines through the water pump cause of this design which destroyed the vacuum system and in turn destroyed the oil pump cause it also functions as the vacuum pump."
"The water pump leaks internally right into the vacuum system. (Water pump can be vacuum controlled - not anymore since a recall on these engines to 'fix' this issue). If you are too late, oil finds its way into the vacuum system because the one-way valve on the oil/vacuum pump doesn't function properly with coolant in the system. This means engine out job to replace the oil/vacuum pump and everything vacuum related"

is that something i can do it my self ?
Maybe pose as a Mercedes dealer and get it fixed for free
does he have store in virginia ?
