Metallica coming to Georgia

I was at that show myself, and no, you did not miss Candlebox because Suicidal was the opening act. Alice In Chains was supposed to be the second act but Layne was so screwed up on heroin he could not make it and Candlebox replaced them at the last minute. I remember it like it was yesterday because l was there to see Alice In Chains…..Summer **** tour of 1994. I still have my ticket.
It was loud and it turned out to be a great show, for an outside venue.
I would never go to a stadium show like the Benz.
Pantera? I saw them at Lakewood in ‘95 and again, front row live at the International Ballroom back around ‘97…Loudest show I ever attended…It was something….Sorry, but this new band is not Pantera.

I wish I could have seen Alice In Chains with Layne. Didn't go for them, but saw them with the replacement lead at a lots of bands show. Wish that guy hadn't OD'd.

I may have been buzzed enough to not remember Candlebox. But I definitely remember that Suicidal was all the way live. Only show I ever saw at Lakewood. I do recall that their beer selections were Ice House or that other **** Plank Road Brewery used to make. Red Dog I think.
