Atlanta can be like a weird fever dream at times.... I wonder did I really just see that?

Got my tickets last week! Never been a Metallica die hard by any means but realize that they are a legacy band and this might be one of their last few times here in Atlanta! Guess ya'll can tell who my rock allegiances lie with by my avatar! Lol. Should be an awesome show though! Cant wait.

Not me. I've been to over 100 concerts in my life, only a handful of bands sound as good or better live than in person. That plus I hate people
I just read back through this thread and noticed that I said there was no way I could/would pay the going price for Metallica tickets. Well... about two months ago I paid close to if not that much for three tickets to see Govt Mule at the amphitheatre beside the Macon Mall this October.
See I don't go to concerts anymore which means I'm out of touch with what tickets ( and worse yet) service fees cost these days. I bought "Lawn Seating" tickets because they were cheapest at $35ish each. And I was told by folks that have been there that there's a good clear view from everywhere there. Okay well fine I guess I'm in for one last live show. My daughter is going since she's down for pretty much ANY live show. But somehow what started out as basically $100.00 worth of tickets wound up right at $235.00. WTF!?

That's one of the reasons I bought tickets to Govt Mule in October in Macon. They cover Floyd tunes so well that there's even an album called "Dark Side of the Mule".
Seriously their cover of Shine On...is amazing.
