Last concert I went to was Slayer in Orlando. Like a dumb ass we stood in the very front like a teenager and about got crushed against the separation bar from everybody pushing forward. Got into a fight with the guy behind for him reaching up between my friend and I and driving his elbow into my kidney. I was escorted out by the police
No more concerts for me, especially a metal concert

Saw them at Lakewood with Suicidal back in 94. Suicidal is SO high energy they can steal the show in no time at all. Luckily we got there late enough to miss Candlebox.

I saw the Cult open for them at Lakewood in '89. Metallica got their asses handed to 'em that night. IMO
Faith No More replaced the Cult as opening act for the rest of that year.

I used to really dig The Cult until Pandora made me hate them. And Faith No More couldn't fade into obscurity quick enough for me. Damn they sucked!

Rock n Roll !!!

I have been to so many shows…. I have a stack of ticket stubs 6” thick or more I bet !! lol.
We used to camp out for tix and then I met some music industry big wheels and that’s when I started really getting good seats to any and every show I wanted !
I haven’t been to any concert in a while though. I think when I got to where I couldn’t walk anymore, I quit trying to go. It is just way too much to handle any longer. Plus as I said…. Been there, done that.
It was fun though….great memories, I think ! lol.

Who was at the summer sanatarium tour in 99 at the GA dome?
Powerman 5000, System of a down, kid Rock, Korn and Metallica!
Best show I've ever been too, pre 9/11 days not a camera phone in sight.

Doubt I'll make this one, but if any band could get me back to Atlanta for a concert it would be metallica!

How insanely expensive were they?

Heck $55 plus fees will get you upper deck. Anywhere at Mercedes will be a decent seat, but I believe we paid $150ish a seat so we should have good seats👍🏻
