But I do prefer the M&P’s. I have never heard anyone call them garbage before. I know people either like one or the other, but I figured it was like a Ford vs. Chevy thing.

Oh trust me, you won't hurt my feelings. Some of these guys on this thread can be snowflakes sometimes, and I'm the millennial of the bunch (23). I've seen a lot of M&P's fail. And the icing on the cake was the Armorer's Course. I've owned a few, but never been a fan all around. I hear the 2.0's are leaps and bounds better however.

I’ve owned a lot of M&P’s, (4 right now, 2 Shields, 2 M&P9’s) and I’ve never seen one fail.
