New One to me I now use is a early war Arisaka type 99 in 7.7 it is a tack driver,
and sometimes a 303 British rifle.
I love both rifles
I was using a 1903 Springfield all of my rifles are original military spec rifles.

I decided to use my 03A3 this year and love the shooting characteristics of this gun. She's a good bit heavier than my 336 but the accuracy, reliability and 30'06 report makes it all worth it.

How 'bout you guys? Anyone toting a K98, Enfield, M44, etc... In the woods this season?

Chalk me down in the K98 and enfield! mostly using the mauser! since I like the way it shoots I've been hunting with an 308 ishapore enfield a couple times but 98% of the time I use my k98 with some Winchester soft points

been out with a garand twice but its too clean too be taking out into the brush. always wanted to take the m44 hog hunting because of the pig sticker haha
