So is my wallet from buying AK mags...but it doesn't change the fact that we are in a situation none of us have ever been in. Yeah the ban in the 90s was bad but the frequency we are seeing active shooters is concerning and fuels the grab agenda.

Have you heard what NY did on mags? Seven round max with NO grandfathering. They will have one year to sell them out of state. After that it is a crime to own them. Confiscation and criminal charges if you have them after a year.

I'm in the same seat here, I own many guns, but I can't disobey the orders I'm given, or you'll see me in a courts' martial. If they come down from the executive branch, they aren't considered unlawful, not immoral, because although the federal G cannot prohibit all firearms because the the 2nd Amendment, but they can sure limit it. Its not a good seat to be in when the G controls your checks, retirement, and can throw you in prison.

I hope...that your young. I also hope that your right sleeve on your uniform is slick sided. Once you go to a country where people have no say in what happens, you might feel differently.

On the other hand, if the government knows there are real people willing to fight for their rights, they are much less likely to make it necessary. I hope to hell the administration is reading these threads and all the others on other sites that are saying the same thing. They need to understand that not all of the people of this country have turned into the sheep they so much. They need to know there are still many wolves in the woods that they will need to deal with if they go to far. THAT is WHY the 2nd Amendment exists. To feed the wolves.

door to door rebellion would difficult.. if it absolutely came down to it (which I doubt 99.999999%) and the US is torn apart, success would be low intensity warfare, espionage, electronic warfare computer hacking.. see, since it would be domestic, there would be sooooo many threats on the inside that no one on the governement side would feel safe. Your mail man, your garbage man, the guy that runs the shooting range.. food distribution..pretty much all logistics. Ammo is made by civilian factories full of gun owners. In conventional warefare, family members are safe across the ocean.. if it came to an epic all hell breaks lose come big or stay home conflict, no one is safe.. As our conflicts draw down, the civilian sector grows in expertise. It is not a conflict the government wants to entertain..they've got to avoid that one moment that galvanizes the opposition.. they've got to avoid that one shot being fired across the bridge the sets it all off.
