missing german mountain carbine g 30-40

i got this notice in a invoice from a firearm i bought from this dealer, figured I'd share it considering he obviously wants the rifle back even after all this time.

i am not affiliated with them, i just bought a firearm from them on gunbroker

and the rifle is worth more then the $1000 as well, sitting in someones private collection not knowing it was stolen. now the business seems to just be a "semi-retired" guy whom sells odds and ends historical pieces

Some rifles are tougher to give up than others... kinda depends on the color of them... I'm guessing...
