Molot (VEPR manufacturer) to be sold off in bankruptcy proceedings

I guess they had been in bankruptcy for a while, but they are actually auctioning off the company now.

It sounds like one of the criteria is that whoever buys them has to keep the company going though, at least for the military contracts.

Hopefully they will continue civilian sales, but I expect to see ads for $2000 VEPR-12s once this gets out.

Actually, if Kalashnikov buys them it could be a good thing over the long haul.
