Totally agree and you’d be the instructor I’d contact for a lesson my man. BamaBrad definitely think about a rimfire class with CBeck …. Priceless knowledge and years of experience can be yours.

If a guy wanted to grab a timer, what do most people use at competitions?

A shot timer isn't necessary for NRL or PRS. The only time they get used is on a timed tie breaker stage and that's not even always the case. A timer on your phone set for 90 seconds or 2 minutes is perfect. All we use at West GA nrl is digital kitchen timers that count down.

A shot timer would be nice to have if you had the extra money for one but not a necessity by any means. A simple stopwatch or kitchen timer works fine but you have to give yourself some fudge room since they aren’t hands free. If you have an Apple Watch the precision match timer app is great and you can also use Speak Timer or just ask Siri to set a timer on your phone on your phone for hands free options.
