Ok I hung a new stand yesterday evening to hopefully get a shot of deer crossing a creek. After getting on stand this morning I probably got bit 10-15 times on hands (forgot my gloves) and Around my eyes. Had on a face mask. It was miserable!! My question is what do you guys do to help, with the pesky mosquitos? Anything useful besides a stinky Thermocell?

Pretty sure if I didn't have Zikka before I do now!!

This may help....

I don't use any insect repellent. Any time I am in the woods, I take a few oak leaves, crush them, and rub them on my skin. Never had a problem with mosquitoes. I don't hunt, but I have done my fair share of hiking and camping in the deep woods.

Just be careful which leaves you pick!

I heard the fresh earth thermaCELL pads drive deer off.

I swear my thermaCELL got me busted the other day.
It burns the scent pad and
Smells Like burnt toast.
