Most employers are like this. I know the military base near me is.

If you are digging around a hi voltage cable or a hi pressure natural gas line you better have some intelligence. I had to be certified and retested every 3 years to do it. The first thing the NTSB will look at are certificates when things go south.

I have a ninth-grade education. Joined the Army reserve at 18 started out communications because at the time I ranked in the top 15 percent of the military applicants. Re-enlisted and switched to Psychological Warfare at 28 because now I ranked in the top 5 percent of all applicants going through MEPS according to the ASVAB and DLAB including college graduates. All while owning and operating a business making 500k + a year.

From 14 to 17 I moved other people's furniture. It made me very strong, but I was already more intelligent than most of today's so called college grads.

So, I could carry a washing machine on my back up 4 flights of stairs and when I got to the top, I could still outthink the next asshole.

Never judge a book by its cover and judge not least ye be judged.

Dave is actually getting stuff done.
dave has a backbone and a work ethic. The rest are political hires and ass kissers.
